Dry Embossed Christmas card!

This "Make Merry!" card was inspired by the front cover of this month's issue of Stampin' Success, an exclusive magazine for Stampin' Up! demonstrators.  This card features the Berry Christmas stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog.




Make Merry Card

Instructions
  1. Dry emboss Kraft card stock using Sizzix Big Shot and Petals-A-Plenty Textured Impressions embossing folder.
  2. Ink branch image using Old Olive and Soft Suede Stampin' Write markers. Stamp image on Whisper White card stock. Stamp bird image in Soft Suede ink above branch image using Stamp-A-Ma-Jig.
  3. Use Scallop Edge punch on Real Red card stock. Adhere to back side of Whisper White piece to create a mini scalloped border along right edge.
  4. Adhere Whisper White piece to embossed piece.
  5. Adhere left edge of ribbon to back side of embossed piece using SNAIL adhesive. Wrap around front of card stock, and secure using SNAIL adhesive.
  6. Adhere embossed card stock piece to card.
  7. Adhere right end of the ribbon to card.
  8. Stamp "Make merry!" in Soft Suede ink on Crushed Curry card stock. Adhere to card.
  9. Tie linen thread through Certainly Celery button. Adhere button to card using a Mini Glue Dot.
