2013 Holiday Mini Product Shares - Sign up now!

Are you in love with the gorgeous new papers and ribbons in the 2013 Holiday Mini Catalog? If you're like me and wish you could own them all, I have a solution for you!  I'm offering a product share so you can sample everything without having to buy a full package of each.

Here is how a product share works:  I order a package of each paper and ribbon in the mini catalog and then I cut them into smaller pieces (see below for sizes). Then I carefully repackage them and you either pick up your share from me or I can mail them directly to you! You may sign up for multiple shares if you want even more paper and ribbon!

Email me if you would like me to reserve a spot for you. Payment is not required at this time; I will send you a PayPal invoice once I have enough people signed up!

Here is what you will receive in the 2013 Holiday Mini Product Share:

     (6) 6"x6" sheets of Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper
     (6) 6"x6" sheets of Witches' Brew Designer Series Paper
     (6) 6"x6" sheets of Season of Style Designer Series Paper
     (6) 6"x6" sheets of Winter Frost Designer Series Paper

2 yards of Silver 1/8" Ribbon
2 yards of Cherry Cobbler 1" Grosgrain Ribbon

Chic Challenges (CC03)

It's time for Round 3 of Chic Challenges!  Be sure to post your own creation on the Chic Challenges website.  I look forward to seeing your hand stamped creations.

I decided to make something quick and easy this week.  I think I spent more time taking out and putting away my supplies than I did stamping and assembling!

Many of the products used on this card are retiring soon. I am really going to miss Baja Breeze - it is one of my favorite colors.

Stamps: Curly Cute
Ink: Midnight Muse
Card Stock: Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Whisper White, Red Glimmer Paper

Chic Challenges (CC02)

Hi everyone!  It's time for the second round of Chic Challenges!  This sketch challenge posts on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month and you have 7 days to post your own creation on the Chic Challenges website.  Have fun stamping and creating!

Here is this week's sketch:

And here is the card I designed!  I love how clean and simple this card turned out.

VERSAMARK RESIST TECHNIQUE:
  • Randomly stamp medallion image from Artistic Etchings stamp set with Versamark ink on Glossy White card stock
  • Ink up your brayer with the Wisteria Wonder ink pad.
  • Roll the brayer over the Glossy White card stock.  Everything that you stamped with the Versamark will resist the ink! The images will appear as more color is applied.

SUPPLIES:

  • Ink: Pink Pirouette, Wisteria Wonder
  • Card Stock: Wisteria Wonder, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Glossy White

April Newsletter

Color Refresh!
In 2010 when we did our big color renovation we shared our plans for smaller color refreshes every three to five years to keep our colors on trend. Well it has been three years and we are excited to announce that the upcoming 2013– 2014 annual catalog will include 10 new colors (9 of which are returning In Colors® from previous years)! We love color and we know that you do too.  It's important for us to stay current with color trends so we are thrilled to share our updated line of colors, and hope you are as excited as we are by the new possibilities!

Beginning on April 4, 2013, all retiring/discontinuing color products (i.e. ink, paper, ribbon, accessories, etc.) will be available while supplies last.

Click on the image to enlarge it.

FREE SHIPPING: APRIL 6 - APRIL 8!
I'm so excited to let you know that we are offering FREE shipping on EVERYTHING April 6-8, 2013! That's right. There are no minimums or limits and online orders qualify, too! Did I mention that the free shipping is on everything?  Don't forget to stock up on retiring colors since they will only be available while supplies last!

Chic Challenges (CC01)

Hey everyone!  I am so excited to share that I am a designer for a brand new bi-weekly sketch challenge called Chic Challenges.  New sketches will post on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.  These sketches are designed to jump start your creativity and I hope you'll all play along with me!

Here is my first card design for Chic Challenges:

And here is the sketch I used as a template for my design!

HELPFUL TIPS:
  • Use a sponge dauber and your favorite ink pad to dye the white Tea Lace Paper Doilies in any shade!  On my card, I used Summer Starfruit to add a pop of color. (It's been sunny and warm here in Orange County, California, so Summer Starfruit seemed appropriate!)
  • Emboss your designer series papers with the Honeycomb embossing folder, then use your Paper Snips to cut out individual hexagons.
  • Do you have problems with color coordination? I love to use the Designer Series Paper and Simply Scrappin' section of my annual catalog as a resource.  The coordinating colors are listed for each paper package.  For example, Birds of a Feather Designer Series Paper coordinates with: Crumb Cake, Island Indigo, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, and Whisper White.  You'll notice I used several of these colors on my card!

SUPPLIES:
  • Stamps: Oh, Hello
  • Ink: Crumb Cake, Summer Starfruit
  • Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Summer Starfruit, Whisper White
  • Designer Series Paper: Birds of a Feather
  • Big Shot: Honeycomb embossing folder, 3" Circle Originals Die
  • Accessories: Tea Lace Paper Doilies, Sponge Daubers, Paper Piercer, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack, Paper Snips

*NEW PRODUCT* Photopolymer Stamps

Introducing ... Photopolymer Stamps!

Stampin' Up! searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. And they've found it. I'm excited to announce that we now have wood-mount rubber stamps, clear-mount rubber stamps AND clear photopolymer stamps! The new photopolymer will be an addition to our stamp line and will appeal to all types of stampers. Stampin' Up!'s top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of our firm-foam pads, let's just say they're meant for each other!

What makes them so great?
  • They're entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
  • They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
  • Can you say sticky? (Don't worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks (sold separately).
  • They're age tested. They won't yellow or cloud up over time.
  • They use FDA, food-safe material. How far can you stretch your stamping creativity?

Click here to visit my online store and order this stamp set!

  • Not available in wood-mount or clear-mount.
  • All photopolymer will be packaged in cello bag with insert, but don't forget you can also store them in our clear cases (sold separately).
