Tuesday Night Card Class: Dec 27, 2011

Here are the cards from tonight's class:

I love the layered effect on this butterfly!  Die cut two butterflies using the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die - one from Wisteria Wonder card stock and one from the Melon Mambo laser cut doilies that are part of the Flirtatious Specialty Designer Series Paper collection.

Stamps: You're a Gem
Ink: Wisteria Wonder
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Flirtatious Specialty Designer Series Paper

Big Shot: Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die
Accessories: Designer Printed Brads, 1" Square Punch, 1/16" Circle Punch, 2-1/2" Circle Punch

Do you recognize the base of this card?  I used the Great Day Simply Sent Kit!

This fabulous kit contains:
■ 8 printed cards (5-1/2" x 4-1/4")
■ 4 sheets self-adhesive coordinating accents
■ 8 Whisper White small flower buttons
■ 8 precut Bashful Blue 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon strips
■ 8 White envelopes (5-3/4" x 4-3/8")

Stamps: Create a Cupcake
Ink: Rose Red, Rich Razzleberry, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Whisper White
Accessories: Great Day Simply Sent Kit, Word Window punch, Build a Cupcake punch, Stampin' Sponges, Mini Glue Dots

The last card is a gift card holder.   The base is actually a Medium Whisper White envelope!  To view additional pictures of the inside of the card, become a fan of my Facebook page or go to my Meetup Photo Album!

I dyed the 3/8" Whisper White taffeta ribbon using a Poppy Parade ink pad and a brayer.  Use a tissue to wipe off the excess ink before adhering the ribbon to your card.

Stamps: Elements of Style, French Foliage
Ink: Poppy Parade, Sahara Sand, Baja Breeze
Paper: Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Baja Breeze
Accessories: 3/8" Whisper White taffeta ribbon, Brayer, 1" Circle punch (used on inside of card)
