If you love the 1-1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon like I do and are surprised to see it retiring ... just to let you know, we will continue to carry striped ribbons that size in the new catalog, but not in the Certainly Celery color. So if you want the 1-1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon in Certainly Celery, be sure stock up now before it sells out! I am introducing a NEW simple technique with the ribbon on this project that I'm very excited to share with you! I'm calling it the Fringed Ribbon technique. I cut slits in the 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain ribbon using my ultra-sharp Paper Snips scissors and then gently ruffled them up to add some texture and dimension! The end result reminds me of a hula skirt. Let me know what you think of this fun and simple ribbon technique!
