December 28, 2010 Card Class Photos
1.) So Many Thanks
This time of year, we all need Thank You cards to send to those who sent us holiday gifts! This gate fold card was created using a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Baja Breeze card stock. Score the long side at 2" and 7-1/2".
2.) Baby Wipe Swipe / Embossed Vellum Card Stock
This card features a couple of different techniques! First, we'll be using re-inkers and a baby wipe on Glossy card stock to make striped backgrounds. Then we'll be using the Sizzix Big Shot and the Square Lattice folder to emboss Vellum card stock!
The "With Sympathy" sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. If you don't want to make a sympathy card, I will have other sentiments for you to choose from. The large floral image from the Upsy Daisy stamp set is suitable for all occasions.
3.) Vintage Valentine
This is my favorite of the three cards we are making because it is clean and simple! This card features the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini catalog. Isn't it great that you can use this paper for other occasions besides Christmas? Be sure to order a package or two of this lovely paper before the sales period ends on January 3, 2011!
Some simple sponging with Early Espresso ink adds to the vintage look to this card. The sentiment is from the Word Play stamp set in the Idea Book and Catalog.
January 4, 2011 Card Class Photos
1.) Create a Cupcake
This stamp set and coordinating Build A Cupcake punch are must-haves from the Occasions Mini catalog! These new products will be available to order on January 4.
2.) Button, Button
This card features the Button, Button stamp set from the Occasions Mini and can be ordered starting on January 4. There are 17 stamps in this set and many coordinate beautifully with our circle punches. The "Thanks a Million" sentiment is from the Word Play stamp set from the current Idea Book & Catalog.
3.) Chocolate
I used a tiny bit of aluminum foil on the chocolate bar! The small heart punch is great for creating quick and easy accent pieces.
